kalamazoo?

Todd, I couldn't find your thread on Kazoo, but it looks like Ed Ashby is going to be the speaker. Did you meet him at Harry's house?

I'd like to have sat quietly (yes, I can) and listened to those two talk about Archery!

Randy, I can hold the front of the pack in some things, but those men are/were real innovators! Anyway, thanks for the compliment.

I doubt either one has killed 18 squirrels this season with a longbow, or any season for that matter. I admire them guys too, but they put their pants on just like me or you. Most of them famous guys are famous because they sell themselves, or at least make a full time job of their hobby, which is great, wish I could do it, but it don't make em any better than anybody else. Some of my biggest bowhuntin' heroes are my huntin buddies. I like to hunt a week, camping, living cheap and 100% outdoors with good friends. One of my biggest bowhuntin heroes is just about 3 ft tall and weighs 40 lbs, but man that little guy loves to fling arrows! We still need to do that Hog hunt man.

Speaking of the hog hunt, has anyone shown any interest? TBOF then Swine, then home?

Not got no big response, but I guess I need to contact that guy and get more details. I thought I could get better details if I had a set # of hunters, Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?

having done this sort of thing over the years, you will discover that you have to do it all, and then about 1/3 of the "committed" will reneg. Just sayin'.
Get deposit money from everyone up front.

There is a thread on trad gang started by a guy going down there to hunt with Tarponnut right now. He said he would post when he gets back.

I saw where it says that feller guides for Turkeys in Fla. too. Did he say he would be available fot the dates you want?

I'd love to go, but I am going to be working again...

I am going to FL next week for 2 1/2 weeks to visit my parents and my grandchildren. That took care of all my free time. Maybe I will go to GA in May.

If you guys make that hunt happen, take lots of pictures!

God bless,

José

I need to call him Dennis, I'm not real sure if he guides at all. I think it is more of a "tresspass fee" from the feeling I got in our limited e-Mails. Maybe sometime this week I can get him on the phone and get the details. I would like to see what the guy on TradGang has to say about this hunt, and to be safe we may better see what his responses are. So we do have some intrested ?
