We decided to go back to a 20 target foremat with two shots at each. This will be less work with more shooting. Prices will remain the same. For members $7.00 for one round. A second round for an additional $3.00. Scores should go back up cause we're shooting 40 shots instead of 30 I looked around there tonight and I couldn't belive how old them guys are looking, so as always any help setting and tearing down will be greatly appreciated
We now have cards made up for members. Anyone that has paid early, and I do have your names, should pick up their membership cards the first time you make it up.
The drawing for the kids bow that JR has graciously donated will be for members from 17 years of age on down. They will get a ticket each time they shoot as long as they are a member or their parents are members.
Food at the first shoot will be soup and roast Anyone wishing to bring side dishes or deserts will be greatly apreciated
We would like to have an American round added to the shoots. This needs to be discussed and plans made. My understanding is shots are taken from 40,50,and 60yds. We will have to purchase a target for this competition, but it sounds like a lot of fun.
We're talking about getting ITBA hats again this year. We might also get shirts on a preorder basis. Personaly I would like to see us get some ITBA snot rags that we could tie around our heads We need to come up with prices an then we can see what everyone might like.
The classic bow shoot will be the first march shoot so as not to conflict with KTBA Fred shoot. Hopefully we can draw some of our Southern brothers up that shoot
I hope everyone is looking forward to this year as much as I am My challange is for every member to bring in at least one new shooter this year.
sounds like you got it all ironed out Den.I think the 20 targets shot twice is a good idea, something I may suggest at our shoots. More shooting, less work..., I kinda like it! Thanks for giving us Rebs the opportunity to come to the classic bow shoot, I'll try and drum up some bussiness for you. If you can send me a shoot schedule I'll be sure and put it out at our shoots. You can just e-mail it and I'll make a few copies. Its all GOOD !
