Well, I was gathering up my 3-D arrows just the other evening.
I wasn't sure you and Jimbo agreed with my theory. As I remember you both almost choked when I said that. Maybe that was just cause you were both under the influnce of spirits at that time. Spirits of the campfire that is
Anyway my 3-D arrows have not been exercised too much since about August. I'm sure they've picked up some arrow rust since then. That's another theory.
Just like a rabbit dog that aint been run all summer, It takes a little while to limber them up and toughen up their pads. Or as Tim says they are pretty brash.
I'll let you know how it goes and next time maybe we can discuss feather placement
John, that discovery was made quite by accident Kind of like when that apple fell on Einstein's head.
You always hear people ask which one is better, left or right wing. From all the responses I've read, no one really knows for sure
I've solved that problem for ever
Just think about it, wind has a much greater effect on arrow flight. Sometimes the wind blows from the north, sometimes the south, and all points in between.
My arrows are set up for any wind direction.
As a matter of fact they are good both uphill and downhill. High pressure and low. Sunny, shady.East coast, west coast. All relative humidities. And sometimes when you plink a shot, or when you plunk a shot
My arrows are alyays in a struggel to maintain equilibrium
John, just look at nature. Aint a dang bird got both left and right feathers
Dennis, you are the expert, each post proves, and reproves it, over and over. You need to come the the KTBA shoot and go ahead and clean out the lost arrow bucket. They are all different diameters, lengths, and spines, but since you are"Bi- fletching" them, those little indescrepencies should not hurt the flight and accuracy one bit..., Help you're self buddy, they are CHEAP !
I think you're on to something............reminds me of O.L. Ad**** and the claim that his bows would all shoot over 200fps. I figure you should patent that arrow design, make a few for about $1200 a dozen, then get A&H to make them for you while you feesh in the big Florida Crick.
Yeah I was readin about OL on one of the other forums last night. Seems he has a huge fan club that would like to invite him to a good ol necktie party and him as the "special guest". Looks like our little Traditional archery world has been corrupted by the deadbeats same as the rest of this $hitty world. Hang 'em High, thats my motto.
Randy, I'll pass on your, Bucket of Misfit Arrows Probably mostly carbo's anyway
John, for that price I will gladly make you a bow that will shoot 200fps. You just have to do your part and be able to draw 184# at 29"
Hey I cut that ash you gave me. I cut it in half and then ripped it into squares. The innermost wood had a lot of knots so no arrows there. The bark and sapwood had to be eliminated next. What was left was 9 nice blanks per half log.
Next I hand planed two of them down to round. Then ran one thru me gizmo.
They feel real light and very flexible. Pretty though.
If they don't work for me I may paint them black, write a bunch of numbers on them, name them the Amazing Vaporizing Devastators, and sell them to Randy

Its OK Den, I allready have some AVD's, 10 doz as a matter of fact. They are indestructable, but sadly can still get lost due to less than stellar accuracy on my part. Thanks for remebering me though....., buddy? ? ?
