I may as well come clean. If you look up the young banjo picker in Deliverance, you will find out his name is Billy Redden. Seems as though when you track the roots back to the mother country we find our roots mingle. Oh well, now it's out. I feel better already.

It'll be OK Steve. Just wrap some copper wire around those roots.....and GOOD LUCK on the Elk hunt

Dale, I can't describe it, but you will learn a thing: Elk have magic. Elk can be more spooky than deer, and Elk are bigger (and further away) than you thought. Elk are noisey in the woods, and smell like a horse.............GOOD LUCK WITH THEM!
Thanks Guys for the well wishes. As far as Steve packing one out ,if he has to at least he will eat good for a while. It is great to know I have good friends wishing me well. Thanks again. Hope you guys are haveing a good hunting season as well.
Thanks, everyone for the congratulations. And a big thanks to Steve for the great pictures. I can't wait to share the story with anyone who is interested.
It was a great experience for sure. One I will never forget. It was wonderful to be able to share it with a great friend like Steve. He gave me good advice and great moral support. He also helped with the grunt work with only minor complaining. LOL.
That Mountain country side is georgous guess you could tell that from some of the pictures. Well anyway thanks again guys.
