20 members who have chosen to "net" the club newsletter (all of which have active email)
33 members who have chosen USPS service for newsletters (nine have active email on file)
Below are the USPS folks, initials only; first then last; sorted by first. I won't list names on the open net, I have a list of corresponding names I will share upon request.
Please give some thought to changing your status from mail to net, and let me know via this site PM or email. It'll save the club time and money which could better be put into the range, targets, etc.
Thanks for your time and thought towards this matter, Dan

It sems that anyone whose last name starts with cow won't have internet
I'd like someone to take the current member list and have whoever is running the registration desk to ask for emails wherever they are missing, the next shoot is in the morning so I doubt I can can have something ready, but I sure can by next shoot.

Dan, I'm pretty sure I can speak for JiCow. Mail only. No Compu
Dennis provides me with shoot commentary and scores (huge thanks to Dennis), I then turn that into our modest newsletter.
From there:
1) It's posted on the website (time) 2) It's posted on the message board (time) 3) The master member list is updated (time) 3) Emails are sent to inform that it is posted (time) 4) Copies are made ($ + time) 5) The updated member list is processed into mailing labels (time) 6) Address labels are printed, along with return address labels ($ + time) 7) Newsletters are folded, or folded and placed into envelopes (time) 8) Mailings then need to have address and return address stickers, then postage applied ($ + time) 9) Then they have to get to the post office for mailing 10) It's somewhere around $30 and 4-5 hours per newsletter.
That's $270 and 45 hours a year.
The more folks that can access it via the net, the better, it will selfishly save me some time, and save the club some bucks.
Thanks for hearing me out, and thank to those who have responded,
I will try to run off a dozen copies next time the newsletter comes out and set on the desk. If they all get scarfed up I'll adjust, if they just lay there I say we just leave it posted on the forum. My 2 cents.
