Dennis - Those are firearms, there is a big loud bang when you set them off, kind of like the fourth of July. The stores sell these little brass capsules that you use, kind of like short, one-time-use arrows. They are real hard to make yourself, so you prolly wouldn't like them.
These are my father in-law's and my coyote medicine, we have taken up using a little more efficient mean of controlling our yote population. I like guns nearly as much as bows and these new toys have proved to be alot of fun. I was posting some pics on another site and throwed them up here for fun. Mines on bottom. Here's another look.
This is Dennis. Went up to the Backcountry this morning and saw one squirrel, two deer, and one frog. We ate at Schulers Family resturant and it was good. They open at six my time. There's a lot of mast up there this year. Who's going? DEN

Dennis, I got your e-mail, I'm up for chasin some tree rats but I hope there are more there than here around my house. Hickory nuts fallin all over the place but nuthin cuttin on any of them.
I think John must have killed em all last year or the ones that were left all fled the state to regroup.
