Good stuff there, i'm familiar with all those pics, still never get tired of 'em. It was a simpler time, no ATV's, GPS, cell phone, compounds, or digital anything, and somehow they still managed. We would be better off going back to all that.

Bill Negly had stones like croquet balls. I had an old video tape (now defunct) showing him shooting a lion, which promptly charged. The PH shot through a metal rack on the truck to kill it, but it had already raked Negly's shoulder. Bill promptly outlawed the use of firearms on his safaris.
yes a simpeler life with no cell phones and internet is good !! but living a truly subsistance lifestyle is verry difficult !!its not as easy as most people think.after being in the bush for a long time modern conveniences are pretty nice!!
