White horns

Question for you big game hunters: How do you get horns "bleach white"? Thanks.

Stay thirsty my friends...wink

God bless,

José

Jose, there was an article in Traditional Bowhunter a year or two ago on doing this. You don't use household bleach I know for sure. I think they use the stuff hairdressers use for bleaching hair-peroxide

I read where a guy laid a set on an ant-hill for awhile, and then hung them in the sun

Jose,

Are you wanting the skull white... or the horns themselves? Tim's spot on with the TBM article on the skull... but it might work on the horns also... as if I remember right they said to keep them out of the mix...

I guess I am being impatient. I have had these horns outside for 2 years, but they are not turning white. I may have to throw them up on the roof.

God bless,

José
