Well, weather was good overall.Light sprinkle this afternoon(Sunday) but all the rest was good. Big turnout on Saturday, the usual smaller crowd on Sunday.The Smoker Round ate it usual high number of arrows, and the 3D sets were perfect. Two in particular, the turkeys and the bedded elk were things of beauty. Cowles and I shot together and added his clan on Saturday.The normal BSing while shooting but I still managed to shoot a real good score with selfbow. We did discover something important Friday evening while warming up on the practice range. Jim let me shoot his Howard Hill bow. Damn hand shock like to rattle my eyes loose from the sockets. We now surmise that many years of shooting that thing is what caused all his teeth to fall out. Susie had the kitchen running full tilt with chicken, BBQ wings, poke chops, brats, burgers and all the accoutrements. Good groceries Susie, thanks for the hard work.

Well here I am down on bueatiful St. George Island. The weather is perfect and the fishing is great. I've been eatin oysters, jumbo shrimps, and key lime pie I've already got a bowl of spotted sea trout in the fridge. This morning I caught a huge stingray. His hide looked good for handel wraps but that bad boy got shoved back in the water. It's time for a gin and fresca. I'll be back. DEN
It was a great shoot, Want to thank the cook and all the folks who took the time to sit up the ranges that were shot. Coonshot was a blast had a great time. Want to thank Chris G. for the pocket knife he allowed me to beat him out of. It is a great looking knife.

Neil, my kids, and I shot Sunday morning and the sets were awesome. The kids shot pretty well and best of all, the course kept them motivated, I'm pretty sure they shot more arrows in a single day then ever before.

Good shoot,had a nice time. The blanket trade was alot of fun provided many laughs. I really liked the elk target. The kitchen was run very well and the food was very good!! My favorite target was the one where my arrow went through a small tree and stuck in the target lol I should have used that arrow on the smoker round
