Went to camp thur. morn. No deer. I was really looking for turks and sq's. Got one shot at a grey on the ground and missed by fraction. Next morning met the crew at DQ and waited out the rain. Me, James Nixe, and Ron McD. went up to a place close here to New Albany. Got there mid morning. Looked the place over good. On the way out James was in front and suddenly froze. I saw deer over in the woods. James crept to within 15-20 yards and passed up a shot on two small bucks. That afternoon me and Ron went to another place. The corn and beans were still standing. On the way out after dusk we got close to the Jeep and looked up and saw two big bucks. The full moon reflected off the ones rack and you could tell he was a reserve grand champion. They didn't come out till after shootin hours. Todd called and said he got a 4pt. That's the perfect deer. Ronald said Ray Phipps got a 12 ptr.
