Who's goin to Farmland?

I've been talkin to my posse about headin up for the Farmland shoot on Friday evening, and camping out until Sunday. If we go, I will most likelyset up as a vendor as well. We are thinking of doin some fishin, shootin, maybe a little bow buildin, etc. Who's goin?

Bryan, that used to be one of my favorite shoots. It Takes me a couple hours to get there, but I always enjoyed it, until it suddenly went in the tank. I went up on a Sunday one year, and everyone was already gone. Literally. The vendor count went way down, ect. I will wait a couple years to see if it picks back up, before driving that far again. Hope you have a good shoot, and catch enough fish for a mess. It's a pretty place to camp.

Bryan,
Hope to see u and your crew up at Farmland. I met several ITBA down in Edinburgh shoot so I hope to see them to. Hopefully have a good weather for a fun filled weekend. If you guys are planning on shooting the coon shoot afterwards we are going to have chili around the fire pit, free of charge.

About the fishin, they have been doing really well with panfish and catfish this year, haven't heard squat about the bass. Let me know how big of an area you need to set up and I will reserve it for you.

Jon you have a PM.

Hmm not sure what happened to the text,
Anyway Jon, I was extending you and only you an offer to come to Farmland to shoot to show you what we are today. I had nothing to do with what happened in the past nor do I even know what happened, I and the dedicated crew of trad archers that are currently over the 2 trad shoots we hold at Farmland are not living in the past we are looking to the future and moving forward to only make the shoots that much better.

There is no ill will in this post jon, honestly, I don't know you and you don't know me but if you take me up on this offer you won't be disappointed, Look for me at the sign in table or talking to the campers. Big guy with a beard.

Hey Bryan,
Come on out to Farmland, shoot, fish, camp, and have a good time. Everyone is friendly and I'm looking forward to seeing whatever vendors arrive. I bought a bow last year from one vendor and I wasn't even looking for a bow. Some might say it's a sickness, if so, there are a couple people at the club that are worse off than me, LOL. Hope you come and bring all your friends.

Pinky, a friend of mine off of Hoosier Hunting.com will be providing the deer meat since I do not have any ground, I will be providing the Tomatoe juice and whole tomatoes fresh from the this years garden, Steve (VOODOO) will be bringing the pot and we can grab one from the kitchen if needed. Only thing we are missing is the beans.

Hey John,
I was looking at the post again and seen what you said. How long has it been since you have been to Farmland. It's hard to see your pic but I don't recognize it. So I'm guessing it may not have been in the last few years. If I'm wrong you let me know, but please come out and see us. I'm sure there have been some good changes made since the last time you were there. All I can say is that things change and I don't know what may have happened in the past, but if you don't try it again you'll never know. So, hope to see you out there.

C'ya, Ed

Eric,
I usually have a couple of tables so no big area, but that will be great of you to save me a spot. We will probably have two or three tents, just depends on how many are coming for sure. Ginger(aka Pinky) have I met you at the Heartland Jam before? Seems I remember the pink quiver. I am looking forward to the shoot, sounds great, and look forward to meeting everyone. John, I hope you get time to come and decide to try it again. I'll try and bring some extra deer loin for ya if you do! Bill Humphrey is a pretty good camp cook as well, he sure fattened us up at Heartland! Sounds like a great time, I;m looking forward to it.

Bryan, when do you think you and your crew might show up? I have gotten 3 spots reserved currently under the hard roof shelter house, will have one spot avaiable there.
We can get you under the awning by the club house, which will hold about 3 vendors there.

Let me know and looking forward to meeting you and your crew.

Eric

Eric,
We should get there sometime Friday evening, if we get to make it. We are planning on coming as of right now, hopefully that won't change. There will probably be three of us guys camping out, maybe two daughters coming with us unless they decide to stay home with my wife. You never know about teens!
Thanks,
Bryan

Deerstalker and others, if you have extra gear you would like to sell or trade make sure to bring it to the blanket on saturday evening before the coon shoot, the blanket has grown fairly well in the last two events, we meet around the bon fire area.

Take care and looking forward to seeing everyone

A trade blanket too? Man, I can't miss this one! Now I don't know if I have anything to trade, but maybe I can find something.

Yes sir, at the memorial day shoot, I ended up getting some great deals on carbon arrows, several bows were sold along with other hunting gear. One of our faithful group from Southwest Ill. always brings up alot of hunting gear.
