1. The Hickory nuts are still a little green here (nuts still have water in them)
2. Fox squirrels are on the ridges, and along the edges of standing corn fields
3. There appears to be a decent population, from what I've seen so far.

Not seeing any at the camp. I did find a shagbark tree upstream that their tearing up. Every evening the fawns are poping out about dusk though.

I would say you should be able to get a limit sat. early and still make the shoot by about 9:30wink
