Dan, go to the QDMA homepage. Click on National Convention. When that pops up there is a coupon for buy one get one free. I think I read on there somewhere it was $10.00 a person. With the coupon it should only cost $5.00.
I printed a few out, figured I'd pass them out in line - my stuff says $15, last year in Chattanooga it was $10 and the website seems to still reflect that.
Well, that was interesting. I guess it was well worth $5.00. There were more giant deer heads there than anywhere I've ever been. I got a free QDMA hat, insulated mug, magazines, jerky, etc. I saw a bunch of famous people that I've never heard of. Deers is big business. Not much for a primative type fellow like me. I saw a bunch of people I knew and Ronald must know half the deer hunters around

One guy was trying to sell me a little camera that mounts to your bow for $299.00. He would throw the mount in free. He said it would fit any bow made. I told him it wouldn't fit mine. He said oh yea it's universal. I told him I have a selfbow He said oh like a longbow? Said I might have to use tape or something
The only numbers that have any meaning to me when talking about deer are the weight numbers. Those other numbers: 140, 170, etc. are meaningless to me because I do not know how to score deer antlers. I know that the bigger the number the bigger the antlers, but that is it. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to shoot a big buck like all hunters do, but if I do ever kill a record breaking buck, the antlers go the biggest sponsor. I keep pictures, you want the antlers: show me cash! and I am off to Argentina/New Zealand/Australia.
