Just got back from a great trip to Fla. Caught lot's of fish. Brought back 8lbs. of jumbo shrimp. Ate a bunch of grouper and oysters. Stayed on an island my first time ever.
Sounds like a good time all around! Did you bring any fish?
I was about to start a thread asking you about our string maker extraordinaire, aka Ron, since you seem to be his spokeman: is he going to be making strings at the next shoot? Do you know if he has 450+? Thanks.
I hope you brought some fish for the 2 day shoot. Any planning to stay starting friday night?

Jose, we caught quite a few fish. A lot of them were small, and a lot of them were sal****er catfish. You know, I used to think I hated coyotes, but I had one of them catfish finn me right in the big toe. YEEOOOWWW We did keep several sea trout and fryed them up one day. I cooked three big fry pans full and they were delectible We gave some fish away also. On St. George Island they have these fellers that have like icecream trucks that sell fish. I brought back some big jumbo shrimp, 12-14 count, to cook on the grill. $6.99 a pound I would bring a bunch of them up to the shoot but I'd be afraid such rich food would upset Tims tum-tum

Tim and Dale always stay Fri night. It's a tradition they go in to the Chinn buffet for dinner. Are you gonna camp or stay in town? I'll be camping depending on the weather. DEN
I am gong to wait for the weather to decide on camping/motel/or the back of my station wagon. I believe I will join the boys for dinner again this year on friday night.
Sounds like we may have a few more people staying friday night this year. I think Steve Redden is and I believe we had a few more mayby's. Maybe there will be lots of story telling around the campfire this year. Sounds like you had some real good fishing ,Dennis. Glad you made it back safe and sound.
