NOBODY can top Dennis' story about the gypsies in the poop truck!!! You can't make that stuff up.

We didn't keep score. We shot from the most difficult places possible and continually challenged each other's skill.
Ron made a lot of noise, and did just about everything but Yodel. Our mood must have been infectuious, because we got a couple of other groups shooting from where we did.

Dennis crossed a small creek to the carp target, saying he had boots so wouldn't get wet, but Ron splashed him anyway.

A young kid gave us crap for not shooting from the stakes. He was "running" the course, not shooting.

We stood in the chow line for so long, it was unbelievable. During this time, a very self-important chap preceded to tell Billy how to grip his bow.....John F and I yukked that up! When we got to the food trailer, they were about out of everything.

On the way home, we got in a God-awful traffic jam on I-64. Prior to that, Dennis insisted about every 10 min. that we were lost, until we came abreast of the big Angus cow statue. I don't believe you could get a full pass-through.

There was a guy in the vendor area trying to use an Elk call, but it sounded exactly like a rusty door hinge.

Many a tall tale was told on the trip down and back. It would have made a good, but X-rated recording, guaranteed to make a comedy special on TV.confuse.gif

John, I was simply passing on my favorite chili recipie.smile

The shoot was really great. The ride down and back was unforgetable. When two men with about 150 years, deer huntin, fish shootin, critter killing experience between them, your gonna hear some great stories. Several of Jim's were the "don't try this at home" variety. biggrin

Once again, thanks to Ronald, we were the rowdyest bunch on the rangehmm DEN

Sounds like you guys had more fun than the law allows! Dennis, just exactly how were you passing that favorite chili recipe?

Looks like a covert ugly guy convention where some cute kids and women were kidnapped and forced to provide cover.

Wish I could have been there.
