Too windy today for squirrel hunting but I took the dog and went anyway. The woods time is always good for a pup. Anyway, I did get 3 does out of bed. I'm seeing tons of sign. Rubs, scrapes, and gobs of beaten down trails. The lack of rain has caused them to visit the pond a lot and they have the edges of it all wallowed up. Like cattle have been drinking there. Come next Saturday, we will see.You ought to drag that .54 out and come play.

We'll do that. Chuck was supposed to hunt with me this weekend but he dropped and antique sideboard on his toe and broke it in 2 places, so he's questionable.Maybe next Saturday ?
