Redemption...

Well, I went back out today in a better frame of mind. I was supposed to work, but out-foxed them by calling in sick yesterdayevileye.gif
A fat, little buck came sauntering by at 15 yards, and this time I DIDN'T MISS!!
Yum, Yum!biggrin.gif Kenny is supposed to send me a picture.

this deer and another, smaller forkie were all around me for about 10 min. the shot happened at about 15 yards. I was sitting still as death against the trunk of a big tree.yawn.gif

Good going. In Indiana where you can only kill one buck that is the perfect one. That's what I'm looking for, a nice healthy forkie. Are you having any salamie made?

nope. tenderloins, round steak and burger. This one is a 6-point, but it's hard to tell. He was big bodied, and very fat. Should be good provender!

Most excellent ! A 15 yard shot on the ground is quite an achievment on any deer.
