hickory bow


dennis ,i shot my hickory bow a few times today. seems to shoot pretty good for an airplane propeller....wink 
 i dont have a rest and only used my tillering string to shoot but was still hitting pretty good at 15 yds. i still got to stain and seal it but my have it done in time to shoot it saturday? its right around 55# and 66" ntn.
i will post some pics when i get it done. oh yea the osage i was workin on came out to light ,around 40 or 45 #.

I got that hic backed cedar tillered. If I can find a string to fit I'll shoot it tonight.

Is Jim gonna be at the shoot? I got his grinder done. DEN

yea, he plans to be there.
i think his son and maybe 3 grandkids are coming also...
we shot at b-town yesterday and had a pretty good time .

heres some pics of my new bow .
i still dont think the tiller is real good but it sure shoots good.
i didnt have any dark stain so i used my torch to darken it up .
