here jose is cleaning the arrow his friend bill made befor passing. bill was also the guy who helped jose get started shooting traditional bows. now you want to know why he was cleaning it ?
what better way to remember a friend . the arrow passed straight through the center of the pigs heart and only ran 20 or 30 yds. well done jose !!! dale also stuck a pig but it didnt bleed well and couldn't be found brian held out for a big boar but it wasn't to be this trip. maybe next time , and we all pledged to return.
this bird kept circleing brian and i think i know why
this thing must have crawled inside him and died.... we all had a great time and laughed so hard we cried . sorry to all who didn't make it..... YOU MISSED OUT !!!!
Man, John, those pictures did turn out great. You have an eye for photography, that is for sure. Guys, anyone who has been putting off going on a hunt like this, let me tell you, don't wait any longer! I think I had more fun on this hunt than any other I have ever been on. It was my first time out of state hunting, but it won't be my last! I think my face and sides are still hurting from all the laughing we did! I am definately looking forward to our next outing together, and I would love to make this an annual event. Again guys, I had a wonderful time and I appreciate the opportunity to hunt with you all! Thanks, Bryan

I think KTBA has a shoot this Saturday. Also, there is a shoot at Chickasaw in Shepherdsville that is going to benefit the NASP for Bullitt East High school this Saturday, if anyone is interested in going let me know. I have to work Saturday morning, but I should be finished up in time to make the shoot early afternoon. John and Tim, I wish you guys could have made it, and Steve too. It would have made a great trip even better. Bryan

Boys, I sure had a great trip/hunt with you. Bryan summed it up pretty well. We laughed to tears, I am not kiding you.
The only thing I will require for the next trip is to have Bryan have a physical and a written note from his doctor that he is fit to go. He is a nice guy and all, but that boy is not right! His mother knew it too since he was little.
We need to start planning for the next one because Matt said that there is hardly any slots for the first 3 months next year. He also mentioned that he thinks for stalking it is best to go in the fall when the acorns are on the ground and the pigs are feeding on them.
Did any of you try those sausages from OK? I am down in FL visiting my parents and I have not had a chance to try them. I am dying to know if they are as good as advertised.
