This is Dennis. That one wormy stave I got off you, do you know how dry it is? Is it some of that you bought, or did it come from cuzz Richard?

that stave is 1 yr old and has been split and in a tin shed since sept. i would think it is dry.

Ok. I slabbed off about three quarter of an inch with the band saw, and then chased with a draw knife. I thought it worked pretty dry.

That's an interesting peice of wood. It's gonna need a lot of heat on one half. I may cut it and make a takedown. It also has one of them funny red streaks from end to end.
I'll save you all the shavings if you want them back.

Z-splices are easy. I wish I could find more tubing that would work for sleves. Their not hard to make if you can find telescoping pipe.
