This is Dennis. First of all I'd like to wish Tim a happy mothers day
Yesterday several of us went up to the club stumpin. It was more like stump removal though. Ron called me Thur night about a work day on Saturday. I told him that there should have been more notice but, no worries mate. There was plenty of help. Besides ya'll know I'm a horse when it comes to work
Anyway the place looks great. The one thing though is the Campground. Last year we had the riding mower and was able to bush hog it off. This year it hasent been touched. You can still camp there I guess but bring enough whole blood for a transfusion I'm sure there are plenty ticks in that tall grass.
The good news is we are gonna use the big fire pit up by the club house. It has a seating capacity of one hundred. Bring your chairs. We cut a lot of the old bridge wood into firestick size. It sounds like a lot more are thinking about camping this year. I think sitting around a bonfire with good friends might be one of the most memorable times we can have. Besides Mr. Nail might be a mountain man at heart, but you know that if his van aint dead nuts level he won't be able to sleep I'm thinking about over by the trailer again. What do you all think?
Finally Dave wants me to solicit door prizes and desserts. There will be chicken, burgers, and dogs. Also thanks go out to Ronald Nixe, Ron McDonald, Billy, Dale, Dave, and Bud Bolen for getting the range in great shape. DEN
I don't care where I park. That campground is kinda rough anyway. Plus we won't have to deal with Charlie runnin' into stuff at 2am. See ya' Friday. PS I'll bring a couple of pies.

I remember the year that we ate the pop tarts that had laid in that mud puddle all night long That's when I decided that the Cracker Barrell aint that far a drive. I remember the year you made your homemade fried taters. Boiled in oil was more like it. That's when I decided that stuff in a can aint that bad.
John, eat plain yogurt to try and restore the beneficial bacteria and other micro-organisims that Tims cooking has destroyed. If that don't help eat grass like a sick dog. DEN
We cut a whole bunch of the old bridge wood and piled it against the trailer. It is mostly oak and cherry so it should burn good. I'm looking forward to a good campfire. DEN
