your assistance, please...

Here's what I came up with. A fiberglass sign stake from Lowe's, a piece of PVC pipe for a handle, and a 5-strand kevlar string. I picked up some 3/16th dowels, but can't figure out what to use for field points. I thought about copper tube, but there has to be something better. It's 48" ntn, and draws 12lb at 27" (I don't have the stones to pull it further)

John, a .22 shell ought to be close. Maybe a blunt ?

Tim, a .22 would be fine for a blunt, but I needed a target point. I found some aluminum nock inserts for pencil carbons in my Possibles, and glued them on the tips. a little file work, and they look like Midieval bodkins.bleh

Dennis, a guy could easily kerf the point end and glue in an exacto knife blade smile.gif

update: It chronographs at 135fps with 125gr arrow. Hard to get good flight from such a limber noodle shaft, but it will shoot.

Randy, the total cost of this one was $4.18. Dirt simple to make
