A solution?

Well I went to Lowe's and picked up a 5/16th x 48" solid fiberglass shaft, and a 1" Poplar dowell.  Ran the tip of the shaft through my sanding jig to put a point taper on it, and fletched it with some junk uncut yellow feathers I had. The shaft was bright red to begin with.
Hacked on the dowell until it acted like an Atlatl. Painted that red also (all I had)
Everything is drying, so I havn't tried it yet, but I sure won't lose it.weirdface

Well, it didn't work. The dart swaps ends for the first 30 feet. I can't find a point heavy enough to make it flex.

However, I am having some success with 60 spine wood arrows?
