wish I'd come, just to RAZZ you about the Widder. Congratulations on your high score. I stuck some velcro on the off side of a longbow, and shot it some left handed. Might have to do that for awhile.
Mr Nail, I hope you did not mess up your rotator cuff. That could be a costly injury: it could take a while to recover from it. Lots of lost shooting time. God speed recovering.
Another foot + of snow falling today. You gotta love it! At least I can shoot my bow inside the apartment. Save my place in the group for the may shoot.
John, just think how light your selfbow is going to feel when you switch back to it.
Jose' I pulled something pretty badly, just up from the elbow. It Hurts and I have no power in it anymore. I think the swelling has a lot to do with it.
maybe you shouldn't shoot at all for a while john . let that thing heal up a little. be glad to let you carry my wider around for me , then i shoot and let you carry it to the next target .......ect. ?????
Go see a professional: orthopedic surgeon or sports medicine/physical therapist. When I had my rotator cuff injury I saw an ortho. guy here in ME and he referred me to physical therapy. They evaluated me and gave me 2-3 treatments with the ultrasound machine and gave me exercises to do on a daily basis: I am cured now and can shoot now with no pain in my shoulder. I still do the exercises almost on a daily basis.
Rest and ice for now. See somebody as soon as you can. They can tell you what is wrong and recommend a course of treatment. The good thing is that most of that stuff can be taken care of with ice/rest and exercises.
Well John , Dennis is all in a tizzy over me shooting carbons. When someone touches my arrows he tells them to go wash their hands. I will say one thing though, that boy is plum handy around tools. He's made one of the neatest things I ever saw for making arrow shafts. He's got the professional made ones beat seven ways from Sunday. You have to see it.

Tiim, frugality is the mother of invention. I can't afford all those expensive toys you boys have. John I'm sorry you missed the shoot, especially under the circumstances. Let us know how the X- rays turn out. And remember the power of a positive mental attitude. Ronald shot a pretty good score with a 25# bow. At least you didn't have to witness what one of them widdo bows is capable of. I belive we've turned the corner as far as winter is concerned. We had big flocks of Sandhills flying over. I'm not sure what they thought about all the strange animals, and the tribe that still hunts in the old way, but they did circle a couple times to take another look. Oh yea Jose, they were headed your way. DEN
