This is for John. The synoptic models and local WRF show low level jet forming well to our west. Another round of mesoscale convectiveness looks likely with initiation in upper plains. Expected to slide north of our region due to ridge over central US. Greatest confidence the 8/15 run of the ECMWF and 6z run of the GFS. They are reasonably consistant with that option.
Well John, as you can see it will be a terriable morning to squirrel hunt. You might as well come to the shoot.
Conditions look to be improving by late afternoon. Hope to see you up there. DEN
None of that makes sense in Ky. (Besides, you left out the hypotenuse and the angle of the dangle) I will be hunting tree rats, but sure wish you all well!
John, you've been to my house 4 or 5 times. Do you remember crossin the Ohio river before you got there? That's the Indiana forecast. That's alright though. Just remember when your laid up Sunday with heat frustration, I'll be out chasing greys.
Catfish that's sure nice of you. I'll put one in the briar patch for you. Skin that one pilgrim, I'll get you another.
"Sunday with heat frustration, I'll be out chasing greys." I like that.
Well, I saw a few squirrels, and managed to kill one, despite the howling wind. Saw two nice bucks, a doe and spotted fawn, and 3 quail coveys. Watched a Redtail eating a fresh rabbit kill. Found a place I want to deer hunt. It's been a good weekend.
I put in for vacation the first three weeks of October...and it was promptly denied. Seems they're only gonna let me have a week at a time. Anybody know of a job opening for an old fart like me?
Hope you all had a good shoot, and Dennis, does that first statement in quotations mean you made some grey arrows?
