OK, OK, I'll post!

Seriously, I've been having a lot of fun with squirrels. Killed a dozen so far.

I quit using the E-clip head and went to a standard field point with crosscuts in the back and the edges turned up and sharpened. Something like a gamenabber, only the edges come out farther. This gives good service.

Looking forward to the deer.

Wow!

A dozen...  Great job...

I'm also looking forward to deer season... Hopefully life will calm down a bit so I can get out some...

Deer's a week from today, can't wait, I sure life's not gonna slow down any but I'll find some time to hunt.

John,

You are the man. Our deer season came in the first but I haven't been out yet. Plan to go this weekend. Most of my chores are caught up.

I am just finishing another longbow, one piece 62" 48@28" ActionBoo limbs, Blood wood handle. Real pretty, can't wait to shoot it some.

Steve, the new bow sounds like a beaut. I look forward to seeing it.

I went away from the E-clip head for squirrels, because I lost a couple to lack of penetration. I don't know the science of it, but I suspect the squirrel's mass isn't enough to resist the initial force of the head. It would go in, but only an inch or so, unless you kept it razor sharp. The new head Goes through just fine.
