Will keep him in my prayers and my thoughts will be with him. As a CABG patient myself, tell him it is a piece of cake. I never, repeat, never took a pain pill. But... I was 20+ years younger than him when I had mine and I have a very high pain tolerance.
Where is he having the surgery?

My mother had heart bypass at Floyd Co. when she was in her late 80's came though with flying colors!

I'll for sure keep Jim in my prayers as well.

I talked to him Sunday. He,s in good spirits. His operation will be this coming Fri. the 27th.

John told me yesterday afternoon that the operation went well and he was back in his room.

Went to see him yesterday and he was trying to talk the nurse in letting someone else feed him his lunch! I told him I guess he might as well shoot from the baby stakes when he is cleared to shoot. biggrindisbelief

He's out of the hosp. They let him go early and said that he is having an amazing recovery.

I think what that really means is he got kicked out.wink

Now the long road to recovery.

No archery for a few months and I've got a feeling that he'll be banned for life from them dang Hill style bows.biggrin

Glad to hear that. It will be hard on him to have to stay away from shooting. I hope there will be somebody able to bring him to a shoot now and then so he won't go crazy and climb the walls.no

How is the "old man" getting along? I hope all is well with him. No news is good news...He needs to be patient and heal well before he starts shooting again.
