September shoot trade blanket items

I'm planning on bringing some good stuff to the trade blanket this year.  Here are a few of them.

A Preway lantern from the 30's - 40's.

A set of home made Ulu knives with a display box.  I did not make these.  The large knife has a scene etched into the blade

Osage selfbow with water moccasin skins.  It's RH and around 45 lbs at 28".  I need to sand it and put on the finish.  I should have it done in time.  Should I go with a glossy finish or flat finish for hunting?

Them Ulu's are real good for cutting up green beans for canning. Their also real good for cutting blubber too.confusebiggrin

Love the bow. Go satin, it's perfect for hunting the swamp.wink

Nice! I have some odds and ends I'll drag out. Hope to find some trade items at Friendship if Kevin doesn't beat me to it!

Hey Clint..........some really nice items you got there.
Man those skins already pop, satin would be nice, would look more realistic than a gloss to me. Got me thinkn????

I'm going to be there all day Saturday. Are you bringing anything to work on......I'm going to bring a stave to work on.
By the way, those are some of the nicest moccasin skins I've seen in a while.

I'm bringing some stuff to work on.  I'll probably grab that yew stave that I forgot on our last trip.  I'll be there Friday afternoon and stay until Sunday.  That was one big moccasin skin.  I split it in half to back the bow.
