Bear!

Did you guys see the bear that was spotted last weekend traveled right near the club? A friend from work lives just a bit south west of the conservation club and he saw the black bear that's been sort of a local news celebrity of late. He said the poor bear had an entourage of DNR, and reporters tracking it's path. Last he heard it was in Lexington township which would have made it's path from his place right near if not on the club's property.

Last I heard they caught him. I haven't heard anymore details though. blankstare

Next shoot we might not want to set any bear targets. We don't want him to feel at home. biggrin

There is video of a bear outside of Deputy and some other spots in Jefferson Co. The photos I've seen of it looks to be a smaller bear than the early pics of the bear around Corydon. Maybe a few of the bruins have swam across from KY. I'm with John, hope some dumbass doesn't shoot one.

It would be pretty cool to have bears in the Hoosier National Forest.
